LEAGUE OF WOMEN VOTERS BALLOT REVIEW

You may have seen the Ballot Review in your mailbox. It is sent around the same time as the Vote By Mail ballots for the municipal election. The Ballot Review lists every Assembly and School Board candidate that is on the ballot. It also goes over every proposition on the ballot in clear language so that you know exactly what you are voting for or against.

What is a ballot proposition?

A proposition is a blanket term for any ballot measure to be voted on by the people. In the United States, a ballot measure is a law, issue, or question that appears on a statewide or local ballot for voters to decide.

VOTE BY MAIL FOR municipal elections!

This quick PSA will give you the basics of voting by mail - an easy and secure way to vote! It’s as easy as 1,2,3…

CIVIC ENGAGEMENT BEYOND VOTING

Not eligible or registered to vote? You can still be civically engaged! These resources can show you how.
